Looking forward to the competition next week, just committed to the Players.
Woods' participation in the The Players Championship seemed iffy after he withdrew from the Wells Fargo Championship due to minor injuries. Woods is know to be less than enamored with TPC Sawgrass, and he's missed the Players before due to injuries.
But it's good to have Woods in the field, and good to have confirmation that his injuries this time really are minor. Assuming Woods' knee and Achilles hold up, and that he follows his traditional schedule, his next several tournaments should line up like this:
May 12-15: The Players Championship
June 2-5: The Memorial
June 16-19: U.S. Open
June 30-July 3: AT&T National
July 14-17: British Open
