Steve Stricker is coming off a win in the PGA Tour's season-opening Hyundai Tournament of Champions, and Stricker headlines the field at this week's Sony Open in Hawaii. The Sony Open, played at Waialae Country Club, is the first full-field event on the 2012 PGA Tour schedule.

Stricker won the TOC by three strokes, his 12th career victory, and ninth since turning age 40 (see list of golfers with PGA Tour wins after 40).

The defending champ is Mark Wilson. The field also includes Keegan Bradley, K.J. Choi, Ryo Ishikawa, Zach Johnson, Webb Simpson and David Toms.

The European Tour continues its opening stretch in South Africa with the Joburg Open. Louis Oosthuizen was the Euro Tour's first winner of 2012 at last week's Africa Open, but he's not playing the Joburg. The mostly African field is topped by Ernie Els and Retief Goosen.
